Syria
Poverty
Improvement Objective
Our objective is to abolish poverty in Syria so that the death rate decreases and the economy improves.“Poverty afflicted more than 30 percent of his country’s population, which also had a high fertility rate and high maternal and infant mortality rates.”
Required outcome
The outcome we plan to achieve by pursuing these goals is:
A richer and more flourishing economy that stays balanced and running.
Better paying jobs and reasonable prices based on the income of most Syrian families.
“Syria and the Syrian economy is in ruins. The riches of the Democratic Republic of the Congo have yet to benefit the people. We must create the political and economic climate that will facilitate the emergence of a viable Palestinian state in both the West Bank and Gaza, where the situation is so difficult today.”
Strategies
Our strategies to achieve these goals are:
Improvement programs that ask other countries for help and donations that go toward impoverished Syrian families.
Depending on the income of the family/citizen, the taxes are adjusted to fit their economic needs.“But, more needs to be done to maximize the South-South potential for trade. The United Nations stands ready to support you in advancing these goals, not least through support for the Africa-Arab Joint Action Plan and the Aid for Trade Initiative for Arab States. Trade and investment are also essential for our larger goal of achieving sustainable development and eradicating poverty.”
Support
We plan to seek economic support from the U.S. and it’s citizens. The government will support our cause by lowering taxes to fit the needs of the people.
“Taxes on pollution, corrective taxation and telecommunication taxation could be new sources of funds and resources, she said, emphasizing the role of improved income distribution.”
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Syrian government are as follows:
To meet the requirements asked of them.
To work with the citizens in need and to find a way to help them.
The support that we expect from the Syrian government is:
To ask their higher class citizens to donate to the cause. To ship goods to Syrian families in need. “The Syrian Government had yet to provide the Commission with the full and unconditional cooperation demanded in resolution 1636 (2005).”
Consequences
If our plan falls through or our goal is not achieved then the following conseuences may ooccur:
Failure to meet the requirments will result in increasing poverty and death rates in Syria. Their economy will not improve, but rather be effected negatively.
”The Special Committee called upon Israel to take immediate steps to ensure compliance with international law-enforcement standards, and to ensure accountability for excessive use of force by security forces in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.Regrettably, the Government of Israel had continued its practice of non-cooperation with the Special Committee, he continued, adding that, as a result, the body had not been allowed access to the Occupied Palestinian Territories. He went on to say that the ongoing blockade of the Gaza Strip remained a key obstacle to Palestinian enjoyment of economic, social and cultural rights. It was therefore imperative that the international community use its influence to end it.”
